From November 25 to December 29, the historic old town of Bad Salzuflen is transformed into a romantic backdrop for the Christmas Dream - one of the most beautiful Christmas markets in Westphalia. 65 lovingly decorated wooden pavilions ensure a picturesque Advent season amidst magnificent half-timbered houses. The 12-metre-high Christmas pyramid in the Salzhof is both an eye-catcher and a meeting point. Hand-carved figures tirelessly make their rounds, while mulled wine, eggnog or Christmas beer beckon at their feet.
On the stages at the Schliepsteiner Tor and on the Salzhof, a colorful program ranging from Christmas and children's songs to pop songs will be presented.
In addition, traditional craftspeople such as a Christmas tree ball painter and a wood carver will demonstrate their skills. Werner Korzen will also be sawing birdhouses out of tree trunks live with a chainsaw. Of course, the Bad Salzufler retail trade invites you to store during the entire Advent season and is also open on two open Sundays, December 8 and 29, 2024 from 1 - 6 pm.
The opening hours of the Christmas market are daily from 12 - 9 pm (9.30 pm on Saturdays), including on 26.12. (exceptions: 24.12.: 10 am - 2 pm, 25.12. closed).
