Your event in OWL live?

How does your event end up on the OWL live platform?

This can often, but not always, be done by entering the information at the local level. This means that

  • those responsible for tourism and leisure in your municipality can enter your event into the central database. This feeds not only into the OWL live event calendar, but also into the listings on www.teutonavigator.de, www.teutoburgerwald.de and many other channels.
  • Your local authority may also have its own events calendar that is connected via an interface, or it may have set up its own ‘event reporter’ where you can enter your event yourself.
  • Entering or reporting events at local level is always preferable. This avoids duplicate entries for the same events and ensures that your event is also included in all local broadcast channels.
  • So, first contact the culture and tourism officials in your municipality.
  • If it is unclear who enters the data locally, please send us an email at redaktion@owl-live.de. We will provide you with the contact details.
  • If all else fails, you can use the event reporter on OWL live to report your event.
  • In any case, you should be able to provide all the necessary information about the event. You will also need high-quality photos and the necessary rights to use these photos.
  • When submitting your event via the event notification form, you must agree to this agreement on the use and delivery of data.
  • If changes to the reported events become necessary at a later date, please send the changes to redaktion@owl-live.de.
