The Lichtenau energy tour is a tourist offer to show the diversity of activities relating to renewable energies and environmental and climate protection in the town. Seven people at a time can explore various Lichtenau locations on a guided tour. The energy tour takes place in an environmentally friendly way using an e-mobile and is organized by the Lichtenau eMobil association.

Registration modalities for the Lichtenau energy tour:

Start: The energy tour takes place every Wednesday from 1:30 pm to 4:15 pm. The tour always starts and ends at the Technology Center for Future Energies (TZL). Here you will be welcomed with a short introduction.

Implementation: The Lichtenau energy tour is carried out by the "Energy Tour Rangers" of the Lichtenau eMobil association. The tour lasts around three hours and stops at TZL Lichtenau, the ENERCON nacelle, the Buchgarten wind farm and the Klima Campus Lichtenau secondary school. The journey to the Naturbad station is by individual arrangement. The energy cooperative and the sewage treatment plant of Stadtwerke Lichtenau will only be presented as a slide show at the first stop (TZL).

Schedule and costs: The Lichtenau energy tour is conducted in a comfortable small e-bus. There is space for seven people. The minimum number of participants is 5. A fee of €65 is charged, which is donated to the Lichtenau eMobil association.

Registration: Registration for the Lichtenau energy tour is possible with the climate protection manager of the energy town of Lichtenau, Günter Voß, stating the number of people and the desired date (at least 2 weeks before the desired date).
