Kamishibai-Lesung Kathrin Eimler

Children's Book Reading with Kathrin Eimler

To conclude the first year with Lines Reading Club, the city library of Bad Salzuflen invites interested children aged 4-7 years to a special children's book reading with Kamishibai theater. The children's author Kathrin Eimler will read from her picture book "Knight Schnubidu Helps the King".

This is what the children will experience

Knight Schnubidu is a special knight:

Knight Schnubidu does not have a horse but rides a cow.

Knight Schnubidu does not live in a castle but resides in a house.

Knight Schnubidu has a sword, but he does not fight; he loves to help.

On a sunny day, when the knight is just about to take a ride on his cow, he receives a visit from the king.

The king "comes running and waves very much with his hand." Why? The king has problems and hopes that Knight Schnubidu can help him solve them.

What the knight can help with and whether he can help will be discovered by the children on that afternoon.

With rhythm and movement, the children will experience the story and get to support the knight in his tasks.

Can we help too? We will think about that together afterward.

As a keepsake of the reading, each child will receive a small surprise.
