Medienliebe.online | Intimacy at the Push of a Button? On Emotions, Trust, and AI
Artificial intelligence has a wide range of applications, whether it's writing text, generating images, or answering questions. It's easy to strike up a conversation with an AI chatbot. But what happens when we start involving AI in personal and emotional topics?
In his keynote presentation on Wednesday, November 18, at 5 p.m., Dr. Tobias Kleinert, a psychologist and lecturer at the University of Freiburg, will provide insights into current research findings and demonstrate that not only is it possible to build emotional closeness with AI, but that under certain circumstances, this can even happen more quickly than in interactions with other people.
Afterward, attendees are invited to join a discussion to explore the opportunities and risks associated with an emotional relationship with AI and whether AI can replace human closeness.
The event is a collaboration with the Paderborn District Education Office and the Heinz Nixdorf MuseumsForum.
