Works of art can be found both in the pedestrian zone and in the Marta and Bahnhofsviertel neighborhoods, where they blend into their surroundings. Some are immediately recognizable as art, while others require closer examination by the viewer, and still others, in the opinion of some Herford residents, should be removed immediately.

As part of the new themed tour “Don’t Like It? It’s Art!”, make your way through the abundance and diversity of publicly exhibited art in Herford. Form your own opinion and learn interesting facts and curiosities about the artworks—both large and small—and the artists who created them.
