Every year on the llast Wednesday and Thursday in August, Rehme is transformed into a place full of fun, tradition and history. The Rehme market has long been more than just a festival for young and old - it is a real highlight with a historical background. The first reference to the popular market event dates back to 1682.
Originally started as a stall, cattle and pig market, the Rehmer Markt developed into a real fair in the 20th century. With colorful rides and lots of entertainment, it attracts visitors from near and far.
In 2024, the Rehmer Markt experienced a true renaissance under the direction of organizer Bernd Bolte. In cooperation with many local associations and initiatives, the festival has become even livelier and more diverse.
Look forward to showmen, a varied stage program, the cozy get-together at the Heimathaus and a great closing fireworks display! The anticipation for 27 and 28 August is already huge. August 2025 is already huge.
