On this entertaining and varied excursion, you will learn interesting facts about the Externsteine and marvel at the magnificent mountain heaths on the heights of the Teutoburg Forest. From the very exposed Falkenburg, the castle of the Lippers, you have a wonderful view over the Teutoburg Forest. Nature park guide Holger Kern leads this sporty hike (approx. 13 km with 320 meters of ascent and descent), for which a good basic level of fitness is required. Sturdy shoes, weatherproof clothing, sufficient food and drink are also a must.
