Turn the Tables – How Do I Become a DJ?
Starting in January, the Heinz Nixdorf MuseumsForum will expand its offerings in the areas of music, technology, and computers with its new event series, “Sound and Visions.” Twice a year, participants can explore soundscapes in creative workshops, develop their own music and video projects, and experience the interplay between music and painting.
The series kicks off with the workshop “Turn the Tables – How to Become a DJ” on Saturday, December 5, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the HNF. Five DJ coaches will provide insights into various music genres and technical know-how in music production. Participants will develop their own tracks, which will be uniquely shaped by their visions and emotions. The coaches will provide expert guidance; each coach can mentor up to three participants in the workshop.
Afterward, participants will gather for an open get-together to present their results to the audience over drinks and snacks.
Participation fee: 99 euros per person (includes lunch and drinks). The event is open to anyone 14 years of age or older.
