The approximately 14 km long hiking route starts in Wellentrup and leads over the Eggeberg and the picturesque Nelkenweg to Großenmarpe. Departure is at 8:40 am from Kronenplatz in Detmold, followed by a bus ride on route 777 at 9:05 am.
