The first part of the approx. 5 km hike takes you past old half-timbered houses in the old town center of Brosen. Past the fields behind it, you pass cow and horse pastures, which are lined with hedges and fruit trees.
Through a small wood, the hiking group can then enjoy the wide view over the open area from the highest point of the tour: down to Hohenhausen, up to the rotors of the wind turbines, to the nearby windmill in Bavenhausen and into the distance, where (in good weather) you can even see the Porta Westfalica with
the Kaiser Wilhelm monument.
The stage finish is the "Champagne" - where apple and pear trees form a large meadow orchard and invite you to take a break. You return to Brosen via "secret paths".
