Colorful and cheerful, with games, fun, entertainment and a large flea market just for children: this is how World Children's Day is celebrated in the Gartenschaupark. Kids can bring their own blankets and sell what they no longer need in the playroom: Books and cars, Lego and Playmobil, scooters and other vehicles, dolls, puzzles and toys, as well as children's clothes. In short, anything that the kids need and enjoy can be sold. You can only sell on blankets - tables, clothes racks and the like are not permitted.
No registration is necessary and there is no stall fee. The young junk dealers only need to be in possession of a valid admission ticket for the Garden Show Park in order to take part. Set-up begins at 10 a.m., with sales starting one hour later.
It goes without saying that World Children's Day must not be without music. Children's disco party queen Isa Glücklich invites you to two free children's concerts in the Volksbank Arena. At 2 pm and 4 pm, the kids can dance and join in at the cool children's disco.
A visit to World Children's Day is included in the regular admission price to the Gartenschaupark. Adults pay 6 euros for a day ticket, children aged 4 and over 2 euros. Holders of a season ticket have free admission.
