City festival Haller Willem

On 28 and 29 May 2025 (Ascension Day), the city center from the train station to the main road will be transformed into a colorful entertainment mile with live music, cabaret, comedy, culinary delights and fun for children. And of course you can also shop to your heart's content, as the stores in Halle are also open on the public holiday. As always in Halle, many local clubs and institutions actively participate in the city festival with stalls and activities, giving the "Haller Willem" its very special charm.

The festival, which attracts over 20,000 visitors to Hall's city center over two days every year, is named after the historic Hall carter Wilhelm Stuckemeyer. The railroad line (regional train) from Osnabrück to Bielefeld also bears this name. The city festival has been held in this form since 2000 (decentralized Expo project "More than a platform edge") by the city's cultural office.
