The Bürgerhaus Greffen is run by the Bürgerverein Greffen e.V.. Many local clubs and other groups from the Greffen community use it to host more than 150 events over the course of a year.

The historic mill provides a venue for exhibitions and literary readings, which are now well-known and popular beyond the town's borders.

The parish of St. John the Baptist runs the "Alte Mühle" children's and youth club there, an open facility for children and young people aged between 6 and 25. In addition to the vacation games, open meetings are also offered for children, young people, teenagers and all age groups, where new ideas for projects, activities and events are welcome.
