Schützenplatz Paderborn

Venue
The Paderborn Schützenplatz is the home of the Paderborn Bürger-Schützenverein.

The Paderborn Citizens' Shooting Club, one of the largest in Germany with around 4,200 members, celebrates the shooting festival on the Schützenplatz every year in July. In addition, the "OWL Challenge", an international show jumping tournament, takes place here every year in September after the Schützenplatz was redesigned in 2003.
The square with its old trees also serves as a local recreation area and the Schützenhof is used for events. A restaurant with a cozy beer garden invites you to linger. In addition to the Schützenhof, the image of the Schützenplatz today is characterized by the five company buildings of the club, where club life takes place.
