Derya (Özgü Namal) and Aziz (Tansu Biçer) are a respected theater couple in Ankara and lead a fulfilling life with their 13-year-old daughter. However, after the successful premiere of their latest play, their lives are suddenly turned upside down by the arbitrariness of the state. Overnight, they lose their jobs and thus their livelihood. Now they are faced with the difficult task of reconciling their ideals and convictions with the real necessities of life. The sudden unemployment not only puts their financial security to the test, but also their marriage. As they search together for new ways to continue their careers, they have to deal with the conflicts between their ideals and the practical demands of everyday life. The pressure from outside and the constant uncertainty put increasing strain on their relationship.
