Rahden prepares for popular flea market
Major event on September 19 and 20 - Around 100 exhibitors expected

On the weekend of September 19 and 20, 2026, Rahden's town center will once again become a stage for collectors, treasure hunters and bargain hunters: The big Rahden flea market is just around the corner - an event that has been a fixture of late summer in the region for decades.

With around 100 exhibitors and an expected crowd of around 15,000 visitors over the weekend, the market is one of the largest of its kind in the region. Flea dealers from all over Germany come to present their wares among antiques, curiosities and useful items - everything from grandma's porcelain to dusty vinyl records.

The market is open on Saturday from 8 am to 6 pm and on Sunday from 10 am to 6 pm. A special extra: Sunday shopping from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. also invites you to go shopping in the local stores.

"The atmosphere is unique every year - between the smell of bratwurst and the sound of old music boxes, it creates a very special charm," says organizer Markus Krencky. He has been organizing flea markets in the region for over 20 years. Rahden is particularly popular due to its spacious city center and the high number of visitors.

If you would like to run a stall yourself, you still have until September 20 to register. Stall fees start at around 11 euros per running meter for junk goods. For further information and reservations, the organizer team can be contacted by telephone on 05222-9447544 or by email at krencky@gmx.de.
